Planners
Network UK (pnuk)
is a fledgling organisation seeking to establish a network
to support critical thinking about the current state
of planning in the UK. We
hope that the network can appeal to a broad range of
practitioners, academics and activists interested in
rearticulating the progressive purpose of planning.
Most
importantly we hope to establish the basis for connecting
all those concerned about the current climate of debate.
Established
following a meeting in Oxford in June 2006 we are now
in the process of developing the network. Taking a lead
from the already successful planners
network in North America we are currently trying
to define a statement
of principles that will appear here describing our
intentions and activities.
We
would welcome the involvement of any group or individual
interested in offering their support. For more information
on how to get in touch, or get involved please contact
us .
